Microsoft’s SharePoint 2007 is one of the most powerful collaboration and information management systems available today. SharePoint 2007 provides your employees with a single point of access for all your organization’s teams, departments, partners and customers over your corporate Internet, intranet and extranet SharePoint portals.

This four-day course is designed to equip Web developers and designers with the knowledge of how to develop custom forms using Microsoft Office InfoPath. Attendees will develop skills to design, implement, deploy and customize forms that can then be deployed to Forms Services 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. In this course students will have four days of hands-on training to learn how to design and customize InfoPath forms, including:

- The basics of InfoPath form design
- Working with data and advanced controls
- Conditional formatting and data validation rules
- How to retrieve data from external sources
- Various features of data connections
- Submitting forms and working with form templates
- Understanding various security levels
- Merging and exporting forms
- Installing and configuring form services


Audience and Prerequisites
Students attending this course should meet the following prerequisites:

- A generalized knowledge of managed business processes
- A foundational understanding of HTML and Cascading Style Sheets
- A familiarity of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Forms Services 2007 or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
