Helping FBI Capture a Criminal Was a Big Motivation for SeattlePro Executive

SACRAMENTO, CA – April 7, 2017

SeattlePro Press Releases

When a criminal evaded the local police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), SeattlePro Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Sharee English didn’t give up, because her family was among the victims. She was determined to help the law enforcement catch the offender and stop the suffering for many families across multiple states. After conducting thorough research, English provided information directly to the FBI, which resulted in a sting operation and apprehension of the criminal in Texas. The FBI said English was instrumental in helping bring the criminal to justice, which finally ended the two-year crime spree.

“Working with the FBI on the case ignited my interest in cyber detective work. It was one of my motivations to pursue a certification in ethical hacking”, English said. “Technology is a passion for me. To be able to use technology to fight cybercrime as part of my career and help businesses at the same time provides tremendous satisfaction.”

As a CTO, English is influential in shaping the company’s culture and wants to lead by example. Having EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker certificate already under her belt, she is currently pursuing a certificate in Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator. “Our CEO wants cybersecurity to be a part of our company’s fabric. I guess you can call us bilingual because everyone at SeattlePro speaks English and cybersecurity”, she said with a laugh.
